Domestic - Black Water Treatment Solution

Domestic Greywater Treatment SolutionsMegacorp proposes an innovative domestic water treatment unit. This unit collects all domestic water sewage (“grey” and “black” water) biologically and treats it to be reused for toilet flushing and spray irrigation.

With this system, a reduction of up to 50% of water consumption and complete suppression of sewage water removal can be achieved.

The recycled water will not get in your drinking-water system, but will strictly be used for irrigation/ toilet flushing.

Minimal constraints

Megacorp’s treatment systems use fully aerobic activated sludge technology, capable of processing common household products into harmless compounds.

This is the same process as used in most municipal treatment plants.

Domestic Recycling SolutionsClean and odourless

Our biological treatment process is 100% aerobic non-septic, which means totally odourless.

Anaerobic decomposition causes unpleasant odours in traditional sewage systems, which is avoided in our systems with the use of oxygenation pump.

Even the water produced by Megacorp’s Domestic Water Treatment system is completely odourless.

Household Sewage Treatment System

Megacorp’s household sewage treatment systems allow you to reuse all your household water for keeping lawns and gardens lush and green.

The systems act as a digestive system using a unique cyclic fully aerobic sewage treatment process.

This means there is no septic process, so no septic smells, it’s environmentally friendly producing nutrient rich water to reuse on gardens, and is cost efficient roto run.

The heavy-duty polyethylene sewerage system tank is up to 20mm thick and is, weight for weight, 100 times stronger than concrete.

The material has a shelf life of 500 years. As the sewerage system tank is roto-moulded and completely seamless, there is no risk of seepage, leaking or root intrusion.

It is also not affected by the acidity of sewage. Polyethylene materials are often used to sort hazardous chemicals.

The mechanical components are all designed and constructed to ensure years of efficient and trouble –free service, and are backed with a full manufacturers’ warranty.

The Megacorp sewerage treatment plant tank has a warranty of 15 years. Therefore you can keep using your usual cleaning products.

Maintenance

... is minimal with one inspection every 3 months to verify proper operation, including a water quality tests, sludge measurement, recharge of chlorine tablets and flocculant.

There is virtually no build-up of solids since they are continuously broken down, and the pumps are selected for their reliability for years of trouble-free operation.

Once installed underground, only the control box is visible and can be easily concealed by vegetation.

Water suitable for reuse

The water is treated to a very high level of quality – biological contamination values meet the recommendations of the World Health Organisation and requirements of Dubai Environment Bureau for reuse in spray irrigation.

Facts about Water

...about 65% of indoor home water use occurs in bathrooms. Toilets are the single greatest water user. Only about 10% of our home water supply is used in the kitchen and as drinking water.

...UNESCO has predicted that by 2020, water shortage will be a serious worldwide problem.

...around 80% of the earth's surface is covered in water. 97% of this is salt water, 2% is made up of glaciers. That leaves less than
1% as fresh water
.

Advantages of Recycling

...reduces the stress on the environment.

...saves money, as there is less consumption
from usual water sources (in hot countries water
is often transported by trucks) and there is also
less water to dispose of (again high costs if
sewage is transported by truck)

...can enable extension of facilities without
requiring upgrade of water supply and sewage
systems (no more overflowing of sewage systems)
